About

Marijpol, also known as Marie Pohl, is an illustrator, comic artist, and designer who lives in Hamburg, Germany. A storyteller at heart, she works in various visual styles and narrative formats, aiming to create tension between the ordinary and the unusual by seeking out weirdness in beauty.

Most recently, Marijpol released "Hort" a graphic novel that explores themes of friendship, caregiving, and exceptional bodies.
