About

Marijpol, also known as Marie Pohl, is an illustrator, comic artist and designer based in Hamburg, Germany. As a storyteller, she works in a variety of visual styles and narrative formats, creating tension between the profane and the unusual, seeking out the weird in the beautiful.
In 2022, Marijpol published "Hort" with Edition Moderne – a graphic novel about friendship, care and extraordinary bodies.
