Hort is a 350-page graphic novel originally published in German by Edition Moderne in 2022. In 2024, the French edition La Harde was released by Atrabile. La Harde is part of the official selection for the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême 2025.

Petra, Ulla, and Denise, three unconventional women in their late thirties, share an apartment and navigate life together. When they come across three unsupervised children in their neighborhood, their emotions fluctuate between concern and discomfort, uncertain how to respond.
While not your typical maternal figures, the trio soon find themselves forming a bond with the children. Hort explores non-normative body representations and alternative family structures, offering a nuanced portrayal of friendship and caregiving.

Exhibitions featuring original drawings from the book alongside large-scale textile installations have been held at RFI Hamburg (2022), Fumetto Festival Luzern (2023), Sarjakuvafestivaalit Helsinki (2023), Ad Occhi Aperti Bologna (2023), Formula Bula Paris (2024) and Kunsthaus Göttingen (2024).

Displayed above my desk during the book's creation were various materials and ephemera that inspired my work. Some of these items were later featured in exhibitions, alongside sketches, to provide insight into the creative process behind the graphic novel.
